The Women of Grace continue to meet to discuss ways to become better servants for God and to serve the members of Grace Church. Following are areas where we have been working to help others.

Monetary Aid:

We continue to support Church Women United, Bethany Village and other organizations by sending financial contributions to them as the United Methodist Women did before us.

Prayer Shawls:

We have delivered many of the prayer shawls to members and friends of Grace Church who have been hospitalized or are suffering due to other difficulties. Please keep making the shawls and at the same time praying for the persons who will receive them.

Soup for persons convalescing:

We have made and frozen another batch of soup to take to persons who have returned from hospitalization or suffering from at home illnesses. Please keep the church and Women of Grace informed when you know of someone in need.

Memories On Wood:

We have had a wonderful response to the church wood blocks called “Memories On Wood.” We will continue to take orders as long as there are people who would like to order one. To order please call Cathy Murphy at 732-3726.

Bethesda Mission in need:

Bethesda Mission has received two new sewing machines and need help learning how to use them. There is also a need for sewing supplies, such as fabric, thread, needles, etc. For more information call Ruth Timothy at 737-5678.
