Witness on Wednesday (W.O.W.)

Grace Church has an opportunity for you to attend an adult Bible study or sing (or ring) your heart out with one of our choirs. This opportunity is call "Witness on Wednesday" known as WOW for all ages. WOW consists of an adult study for an hour and various choir rehearsals. We are claiming Wednesdays for our Lord. Come and make your witness!

7:30 PM - Grace Notes Choir Rehearsal

WEDNESDAY STUDY AT 6:30 RELATES TO TIME OF PRAYER.

Our time of study will not be on a book of the Bible; rather it will be on the intent of the entire Bible. The study will be on the will of God! Author, Leslie Weatherhead, wrote a book on this entitled, The Will of God. We will gather as usual in the Olewiler Room, starting on Wednesday, January 6, at 6:30 P.M. This modern Christian classic was written in 1944 and has sold over a million copies. The length of the book is just about 85 pages, depending on what edition you might possess. Weatherhead served in London as pastor of the City Temple congregation, during the dark days of World War II, bringing a message of hope and harmony to hurting people.

Yoline Conley will join us in this rich study. Who is she, you may ask? Yoline plays clarinet, trumpet or trombone for the opening of the adult Sunday school. Yoline has her ordination status with the Church of God and has been identified with Grace Church for just about a year and a half. She has a keen interest in Leslie Weatherhead and his writings. I will work with her in bringing this study before you. Those who may be in a time of grieving or seeking direction in their lives will especially appreciate this study.
